Yoga Can Hold Us Through the “Grief Pandemic”

Welcome to our April Wellness Circle!

Join Greg Van Hyfte for a virtual and interactive workshop on:

Yoga Can Hold Us Through the "Grief Pandemic"

When we grieve, every aspect of our lives is thrown out of balance." - Judy Tatelbaum

As the pandemic drags on, and even as things open up, many of us continue to grieve what we've lost over these past few years. The practices of yoga - including gentle movement, self-compassion, mindfulness and meditation, and breathwork can help us find healing from grief, hope of a new world emerging, and even health benefits. This circle will allow us to come together to share our stories in community about who and what we've lost. We will then engage in movement, breathwork, and guided meditative practices with affirmations that hold space for our feelings. This session will be taught in English and Spanish by YogaCare's outgoing Executive Director & Co-Founder, Greg Van Hyfte, who brings perspectives from yoga, social work, mental health, and personal experience. All are welcome!

Transforming Trauma & Adversity with Yoga

Join Molly Coeling, LMT & RMT for a virtual and interactive workshop.

In this Wellness Circle, we will focus on the adaptations we carry in our bodies, hearts, and minds that have developed as a natural response to the traumas and adversities we’ve experienced.

Together we will spend these 90 minutes working with that which arises for each of us, with curiosity as our guide. We will begin with intention, reflecting upon what you would like for yourself, then spend the remainder of the time exploring what might be standing in your way. We will use the tools of inquiry, breath, movement, reflection, and sharing.

This workshop is open to all who wish to participate.
